2011 Pacific Coast Hack Championships

Our 4yr old Newcomers competed on the weekend with fantastic results. Iona Park Maestro ridden by Laura Thompson was Reserve Champion Newcomer and 4th Prelim Pony, as well as working like a superstar in the indoor arena against the Open Large Showhunter Ponies they did a wonderful work out for such a young horse and werent fazed by the lights nor the crowd. Iona Park Rhythm our hack ridden by Steph Chenery was 4th Newcomer Hack and 4th Prelim. Competing in the Open Small Hacks in a huge class in the indoor arena Rhythm did a wonderful workout and like Maestro was not fazed by anything. We are totaly thrilled with our results.

Big congratulations to Iona Park Melody now owned by the Makhouls and trained by KEA (ridden by Christina King-Andrews) was champion Small Hunter Pony in a huge class against well seasoned ponies and has now qualified for the 2012 Grand Nationals.
