Melody & Katie Kelley at Albion Park show

Iona Park Melody and Katie Kelley competed at Albion Park Spring show. Competing in 4 classes - led Showhunter Pony 1st & Champion, Ridden Showhunter Pony 1st, Led APSB Pony 1st and Reserve to her half brother Iona Park Austintatious! then went Champion ridden APSB under saddle. Toy Soldier progeny are certainly good in the show ring.

Winning the Newcomer Showhunter pony and being Reserve Newcomer Showhunter pony, 3rd prelim Showhunter Pony and then on the Saturday in the Open ring she measured over her size to compete in the Large Open Showhunter Pony, poor Melody looked tiny compared to the others but she went brilliantly! Top 5 then went overall top 8 to compete in the final...Very happy with this young pony!!!

Gorgeous colt foal By Rathowen Toy Soldier out of Medina (Syon Splendor) to make galloway. Very happy with this gorgeous leggy boy!

Iona Park Maestro

Little Maestro working in the arena with his full sister Melody - Watch this space as this young pony will come out as a newcomer next year! He has big shoes to fill but we think he will be a little star just like his sister..

Iona Park Melody and Laura do it again!!!

Iona Park Melody and our show team competed at the Leisure Coast Hack Show on 4th Sept. Melody and Laura competed in the rain to be Champion Newcomer Showhunter Pony, Champion Showhunter n/e 12.2h, 1st Arabian Derivative, Reserve Champion Ridden Riding Pony, Champion Led APSB as well as Champion Ridden APSB. Wow what a day!!! It was raining so we only have this one picture of Melody with her reserve sash.

IONA PARK MELODY SUPREME CHAMPION

Iona Park show team attended the 2010 APSB Luddenham show with Iona Park Melody, ridden by LauraThompson (pictured right). The pair had an amazing show with beautiful weather and terrific outcomes. With an 8am start the whole team had Iona Park Melody and Laura ready to compete in the first ring. With 2nd in the ridden Part Welsh to start the morning off both girls were not quite warmed up, followed by 1st newcomer Pony Hack over 12hnds n.e 13hnds. This automatically took both in to Best Newcomer Pony which she did with a foot perfect work out to win BEST NEWCOMER.

re she won and was Champion. Winning Supreme overall ridden Riding Pony! We were excited and thrilled with this partnership and now looking forward to HOTY.

Rathowen Toy Soldier

Rathowen Toy Soldier in the paddock with his son Iona Park Virtuoso. Virtuoso undid his gate and got in with his father who is used to living on his own - it was so funny to watch as at first he said "what you doing in here it is my paddock" and after a few mins it was "oh well lets eat and play together then". Love these pics of our darling boy.

Toy is very excited at the prospect of the stud season starting. This is the first year that we have had Toy Soldier progeny under saddle and they are proving to be safe, sound and both Virtuoso (galloway) and Vivaldi (hack) have been bought for 12 yr old girls. Virtuoso is now competing with his new owner Carlie and was Champion show hunter galloway at Luddenham. We have many more galloways and ponies coming up through the ranks so watch this space!
